I come to celebrate the 100 hours agenda, not to scorn it. In the three fleet weeks before the president's State of the Union address, the new Congress will put down a clear marker that the times are changing. The conservative era is over. Common sense is no longer exiled from the nation's capital.

On December 12, the Campaign for America's Future hosted a forum with Yale University Professor Jacob Hacker to discuss his important new book, The Great Risk Shift.
This is the kind of book that I believe can change the way we progressives argue our case. The book's subtitle says it pretty clearly: The Assault On American Jobs, Families, Health Care, And Retirement-And How You Can Fight Back.
