My name is Victoria. I am an artist, welling way down from the deep, through many generations ... above all else ... except motherhood!
That's pretty heavy duty ... if you really think about it. Talk about the agony and the ecstasy! Tied by genes, full of passion...to forever search for the meaning of life! Looking intently at everything, to deduce the very basic tenants and nuances of construction and ultimate meaning! At times, frantically trying not to miss something important, knowing that everything IS important... to the Original Creator ... the ultimate artist, still working on expressing in form his/her dream.
Art can get into very deep and murky waters ... creation is by definition art ... creation in any medium that can express the outpourings of the soul of the creator. The earth is art. The universe is art! You are art!!! LOL
Supposedly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Art appreciation is also...all art is valid as expressions of passion and creation. Come to think about it, all living things are artists, In the sense, that they create images and reflections of their being, (think of fossils, for instance ... the art of nature, and who created that!
Any art that a species creates using a tool or materials, even if only a print of ones presence on earth, becomes an expression. This basic definition of art, reflection of being, makes all attempts valid and equally important. Whether you like the work or not, is up to you!
