TA 's Bio
TA Webster was born at the Naval Air Station in Kenitra (Port Lyautey), Morocco. His father was a cryptologist in the U.S. Navy. TA grew up just outside of Washington D.C. in the suburbs of Montgomery County. His family began developing property in the late 1940’s in Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Rockville.
After graduating high school at age 17, TA joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He enlisted as a Communication Center Operator (MOS 2542) and was attached to the 4th Civil Affairs Group at the Naval Annex in Washington D.C., support group for II Marine Air-Ground Expeditions.
He learned construction (framing, plumbing, concrete) working for a local custom home builder and even a top national production builder as a teen. In 1993 he earned his Maryland real estate license and started working at his uncle’s real estate brokerage firm in Upper Marlboro. He received extensive hands on training in property management and acquiring, stabilizing and managing government and bank owned properties.
To say that TA carries with him an insatiable appetite to learn as much as possible about the inner workings of real estate transactions would be an understatement. He sought to understand the 'nuts and bolts' of real estate title & escrow procedures and in 1996 found work as a title examiner and closer for an agent of Lawyers Title. His ability to clearly understand the technical details of various types of transactions gives him the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with buyers, sellers, bankers, lenders, brokers, attorneys, developers, builders and municipal entities regarding complex issues in the realm of real estate.
After many years of wishing to move to Florida, TA moved to a small town in the central part of the state in the fall of 1999. He has made a commitment to give back to the community and is dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate by serving on the Board of Directors of a non-profit that helps the Homeless & Homeless Veterans.
