Boyd's Bio
Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
I am Boyd Morson, a native Detroiter, born and raise in a city that was once lead the world with the introduction of the Motown Sound. A husband to wife Kathy for of 21 years and father of (3) great children and new grandfather to my grand-baby "Tigger" and a pet owner to Lexus, who can be seen all across Amercia on a featured epidsode of Animal Cops Detroit along with me and my son, Boyd II, who is the last of our children to graduate, he has 3 months remaining and is on the Honor Roll and will be entering into the Navy to serve and protect you and our country this August... May God Bless, keep and watch over him and all of our troops!
I welcome, invite and encourage you to visit my website at www.electboydmorson.com and respectfully ask and encourage you to invite others to do the same... to learn more about Boyd Morson and my progressive efforts, thoughts and innovative ideas to promote a better place for us all to live, work, play, learn, worship and do business... equally and fairly...and despite a person social and/or econmic status. We are all human beings with the same rights and freedoms afford us by the United States of America's Constitution! That same US Constitution founded by this great country... that, I as an Honorably discharged US Navy Veteran stepped up to serve and defend... and now, I'm stepping up once again and campaigning for Brooklyn Park Central District City Council to serve the many diverse population of people in the City of Brooklyn Park, MN. In the sixth largest city in Minnesota, a city that's almost 40% diverse and uniquely enriched by it's diversity. The largest community in America for Liberians, yet it has no Liberians employed in local city government nor is our city governement reflective of our uniquely diverse community, yet it employs about 5% minorities. A city where the voices of diversity is absent and/or not sought. A city where several ethnic groups Blacks, Hmongs, Asians, Latinos, Liberians, etc. and whites alike, all decided to choose and make Brooklyn Park our place to live for it's culturally enriched population.
A city where I was appointed to serve as Vice-Chair of Human Rights Commission and once elected in November, I will serve the great people of BP. And together we will have made history, because never in the History of BP have a minority ever made it pass the primaries. I was the only person to have ever made it even close. But, even I fell short by 20 plus votes in 2006. The people recognizes the need for change and I am "a voice of hope and change" yet, "together we are voices in sync for hope and change". I can make a difference but, together we can make a world of a difference in the lives of all Americans irregardless to where we are. But, knowing that we helped and contributed to positively impact the lives of others favorably, by our willingness, commitment to help support, donate and promote progressive candidates that's willing to Take Action will be huge victory for America's Future!
