The Employee Free Choice Act of 2007
Impact on Health Care and Pension Benefits

The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), presently being considered in Congress, facilitates worker organization by removing barriers to "certifying" a union for collective bargaining. This report estimates the impact that EFCA will have on employer-based health and pension benefits.
The report estimates the national impact of the Employee Free Choice Act:
- 3,537,625 more people with health insurance.
- 2,773,045 more people with pensions.
