On August 23, 2005 we released Getting Smarter, Becoming Fairer: A Progressive Education Agenda for a Stronger Nation, the final report of the Renewing our Schools, Securing our Future national education task force, which is cosponsored by the Institute for America's Future and the Center for American Progress. The report received extensive media coverage, including The Washington Post and The New York Times, and was well received by the education community.
