Rev. Wright

I listened to Reverend Wright's full speech on CNN and found that it did not carry one shred of falsehood. We are so bombarded with euphemisms and outright lies that the unvarnished truth somehow sounds unreal, impossible and terribly crude. The history of the take over of North America and subsequent slave trade, white supremacy movements, and consequent social and economic exclusion of minorities together constitute not only a crude history- these are facts. It is a history that the US is yet to move beyond. Reverend Wright is not wrong!
