But he is meeting with James Dobson - and closing the sale.
“I heard about this danger [from Iran] not only at the White House but from other pro-family leaders that I met during that week in Washington," he said.
Not pro-family if the families are Iranian. By one count, upwards of a quarter of Iraqi families [CORRECTION: It's actually 15 percent, as this stunning New York Times Magazine [1] piece documents] have been forced from their home; who knows how many would be if an equally hellish quagmire were visited on Iran. (In other news, the Arab world is growing concerned [2] that the Iraq has left a quarter of Iraqi households led by single mothers. Alert Dr. Dobson! Maybe he's use his formidable lobbying powers to ecrase l'infame and end the war.)
“Many people in a position to know are talking about the possibility of losing a city to nuclear or biological or chemical attack. And if we can lose one we can lose ten. If we can lose ten we can lose a hundred," [3] “especially if North Korea and Russia and China pile on.”
Why not a MILLION cities, Dr. D? You know those evildoers excrete nuclear strikes like they were turds.
UPDATE: Warmongers spread a colossal amount of outright disinformation about the nuclear issue in Iran. Just last week reports "emerged" that International Atomic Energy Inspections were kept from Iran's nuclear facility. An apparently anguished IAEA spokesman [4] said they usually don't comment on these misinformation attempts, but enough was enough: "We have not been denied access at any time, including in the past few weeks."
Did I mention that conservatives treat their constituents like suckers?...
