The Campaign for America's Future supports the Speakout for Good Jobs Now Tour, sponsored by ProgressiveCongress.org. With more than 23 million people still unemployed or underemployed two years after the official end of the Great Recession of 2008, the need for a mass movement to place job creation at the top of the agenda—in actions as well as in words—is more critical than ever.

The national dialogue needs to be less about deficits and more about what is essential for a true American economic recovery: good American jobs for good American workers. We believe in these principles:

  • Every good American worker deserves a good American job.
  • America should work again for people who work for a living.
  • If corporations can use their strength in dollars, working people can use their strength in numbers.
