New Tv Ad Targets Bush For Record-high Gas Prices
WASHINGTON – The Bush Administration's energy policies hand massive breaks to big oil companies and do nothing to lower gas prices or reduce our dependence on foreign oil, according to a new television ad by the Campaign for America's Future and the Detroit Project Action Fund. The ad begins airing today in the Washington, D.C., New York and Los Angeles markets. A copy of the ad is available at www.OutOfGas.com.
Gas prices this week reached a record $2.10 per gallon. Motorists gearing up for Memorial Day weekend travel expect record high prices throughout the summer. The Apollo Alliance, run in part by the Campaign for America's Future, has a plan for new energy for America.
The Campaign for America's Future's "Take Back America" conference in Washington, D.C. June 2nd to 4th will feature a discussion of the Apollo Project, which would reduce our dependence on Persian Gulf oil while creating millions of new jobs in America. The Detroit Project Action Fund advocates for energy independence and fuel efficiency.
