Liberal Group Targets Democrats That Crossed The Line

WASHINGTON – The Campaign for America's Future today launched an extensive search effort to track down 6 Democrats in safe seats that went missing when it came time to stand up for hard working people across America. The group distributed photos of the missing Reps. and Senators on "milk cartons" to hundreds of thousands of people on the Internet and to congressional staffers outside Capitol Hill subway stations Friday morning.

The 6 "missing" Democrats are Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn., Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, Rep. Ruben Hinojosa, D-Texas, Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-N.Y., and Rep. John Tanner, D-Tenn. All 6 supported bankruptcy legislation written by credit card companies, tort legislation that weakens victims' rights, trade legislation that extends failed policies to Central America and energy legislation that does nothing to reduce soaring gas prices.
