"I am the Moral Majority -- the one that's actually moral, and actually a majority."

Sara Robinson is one of the few trained social futurists in North America. Her skill set includes trend analysis, scenario development, futures research, social change theories, systems thinking, and strategic planning. She is completing her MS in Futures Studies from the University of Houston, and holds a BA in Journalism from the USC Annenberg School of Communication.

Sara is a Senior Fellow with the Campaign for America's Future, and is also doing futures consulting with the Progressive Ideas Network, which is a project of Demos. Her work often appears online at the Huffington Post, Firedoglake, OpenLeft, and Alternet; and has also recently been in print at The Progressive Christian and Survival: The Journal of the International Institute of Strategic Studies. Starting in 2006, she was David Neiwert's co-blogger in covering authoritarian and extremist movements at Orcinus, where she cultivated her professional interest in the politics and sociology of change resistance.

A native of California's eastern High Sierra, Sara lived in Silicon Valley and Vancouver, BC before moving to Bellingham, WA in September 2010. She shares her life with her husband, Evan Robinson; two almost-grown kids; and a wheaten Norwegian Buhund -- which makes her, quite literally, a yellow-dog Democrat.
