Groups support Obama's higher ed. plan

da.wvu.edu — Advocates for affordable higher education announced their support for President Barack Obama's higher education budget proposals Thursday.

"(Obama) has made the commitment in this budget to really try to make significant steps toward ensuring that college stays affordable" said Robert Borosage, co-director of the Campaign for America's Future. "We're excited about his budget, and as members of the Campaign for College Affordability, the Campaign for America's Future will lend its voice and its efforts to push to make sure that these reforms take place."
