Weekend Watchdog Wrap-Up

The Sunday shows disappoint once again, going 0-for-3 for the Watchdog.
On Fox News Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham was not asked about how the increase in Iraqi sectarian violence squares with his claim last week that Iraq has "turned the corner."
Graham was asked about the fresh violence, and was less optimistic, saying "I don't know" what the Shia-on-Shia fighting means for Iraq.
Yet later he abruptly went back to the usual delusional talking points: "We don't have chaos in Iraq. What we have is political reconciliation going on in Baghdad."
On ABC's This Week, Sen. Joe Lieberman was not asked about his stated support for permanent bases in Iraq and the Bush administration's current plans for a "long-term" security arrangement.
And on NBC's Meet The Press, CIA Director Michael Hayden was not asked about last week's New York Times report, which refuted his claim that the destroyed videotapes of harsh interrogations were "not relevant to any internal, legislative, or judicial inquiries.”
