Shock of shocks, Karl Rove was able to disgrace three Sunday shows without being asked any question from the Weekend Watchdog.
Most amateurishly, no one bothered to question Rove's stated reason for resigning, even though it is clear scandal pressures were rising.
(The front page of yesterday's Washington Post detailed "How Rove Directed Federal Assets for GOP Gains," and talked of the progress of the internal executive branch investigation. Never mentioned on the Sunday shows.)
Similarly, Rove was not asked about his legacy of politicizing government functions and how it impacted Bush Administration.
Finally, even with the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina around the corner, no one thought to ask Rove about his record as head of Gulf Coast reconstruction.
Separate from the Watchdog questions, see ThinkProgress for how Rove lied about his role in the CIA Leak scandal.
