Taken for granted

Rick Perlstein's picture

A silly little man made an argument yesterday that every sane person who is not paid to think otherwise knows is absurd: that history will look kindly on George W. Bush.

It is, of course, his right to make absurd arguments.

I just wish William Kristol could make them without stomping on the graves of terrorism victims.

"Let's look at the broad forest rather than the often unlovely trees. What do we see? First, no second terrorist attack on U.S. soil—not something we could have taken for granted."

Ottilie Lundgren

Kathy Nguen

Robert Stevens

Thomas Morris Jr.

Joseph Kurseen Jr.

Burn these names of these victims of the October, 2001 anthrax attacks, which the Bush Administration has yet been unable to solve, on the soul-dead eyes of our Mr. Kristol. He takes them for granted.
