I'm not the only one taking e-propaganda seriously this week. From the Guardian:

Barack Obama is recruiting senior staff to a new unit which will combat virulent rumour campaigns on the internet that threaten to cost him votes in the presidential election against John McCain.

Barabara and David Mikkelson at Snopes.com won't be the only ones busy running Internet rumors to ground this year as conservatives' default identity politics gets into gear.
