A Little Franco-American Understanding

This French gentleman (in a beret no less!) has a nice video response to our Merci McCain video (not totally work safe, a little profanity towards the end).

He sympathizes that "the American economy has been devastated by offshoring [and] a free trade ideology that benefits only corporate fat cats ... at the expense of American labor."

But he assures that they will get stiffed too: "The dollar is falling [and] when the dollar ceases to be the reserve currency, the US will no longer be able to pay its bills by borrowing more from us, the foreigners."

He concludes: "So no problem. You're going to have the tankers from us, and never pay. And we are going to be f***d up, as usual. Thank you, goodbye and no worries about this."

Touché!
