Iowa Stat of the Day

With today being National Iowa Day (at least for us political junkies), note this finding reported by The Hill newspaper:

"A recent poll found that by 42 percent to 33 percent, Iowans favor a candidate who believes trade pacts hurt the U.S. economy rather than help it."

Trade was huge in the 2006 elections. Looks like it could be huge in 2008.
