Holiday!

So John McCain's brilliant solution to salve average Americans' economic woes is a gas tax holiday. Some also say that McCain's most likely pick as running mate is Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty.

Conservatives thus appear oblivious to the fact that it was Pawlenty's refusal to pass a responsible gas tax in Minnesota may have had something to do with the I-35W bridge collapse in the city that hosts the 2008 Republican National Convention.

Bless their dear hearts. I say, "bring it on."
