Heck of a job, Bushie

Somewhere, some time in Iraq, surely some National Guardsman from Topeka, in a Kansas National Guard truck, uttered the immortal words, "We're not in Kansas anymore."

Which proves to be something of a problem.

The tornado that hit Greensburg, Kansas, has left 10 dead, so far as anyone knows. Maybe someone is expiring under the rubble as I type - another avoidable death to chalk up to right-wing rule. The government has been forced to stop sweeping. Reports AP, "The governor said the state's response was limited by the shifting of emergency equipment, such as tents, trucks, and semi-trailers, to the war in Iraq. 'Not having the National Guard equipment, which used to be positioned in various parts of the state, to bring in immediately is really going to handicap this effort to rebuild,' she said."
