The Haiku-ing of the President 2008 (UPDATED!)

A friend describes the current state of play in the 2008 presidential election in 50 words or less:

I do believe that McCain has got the "hey you kids, get offa my lawn"
vote sewn up.

And Obama, certainly, is the overwhelming favorite of said kids, who
are on that lawn.

The question is: where will everyone else go?

Try to top that, in the comments. Seventeen syllables, anyone?

I had a bad dream;
My old catcher's mitt grew eyes,
And called me "my friend".

Second:

McCain on Rushmore?
Find any rock outcropping,
No need for sculptors.

Clever. But in order to win you have to reference at least two candidates, and both the parties. Have at it!
