Golden opportunities

Three weeks ago Big Con readers learned about conservatives who saw Hurricane Katrina as a "golden opportunity" to declare ten year "tax holidays" and repeal laws like the one that guarantees sailors medical care while at sea.

Then we learned about conservatives who saw the Minneapolis bridge collapse as a golden opportunity to sell off our bridges to corporations.

Now we learn about the conservative who happens to be the Transportation Secretary, and spies in the bridge collapse a golden opportunity to defund bike paths.
