Bush may not be meeting with foreign leaders on Iran

But he is meeting with James Dobson - and closing the sale.

“I heard about this danger [from Iran] not only at the White House but from other pro-family leaders that I met during that week in Washington," he said.

Not pro-family if the families are Iranian. By one count, upwards of a quarter of Iraqi families [CORRECTION: It's actually 15 percent, as this stunning New York Times Magazine piece documents] have been forced from their home; who knows how many would be if an equally hellish quagmire were visited on Iran. (In other news, the Arab world is growing concerned that the Iraq has left a quarter of Iraqi households led by single mothers. Alert Dr. Dobson! Maybe he's use his formidable lobbying powers to ecrase l'infame and end the war.)

“Many people in a position to know are talking about the possibility of losing a city to nuclear or biological or chemical attack. And if we can lose one we can lose ten. If we can lose ten we can lose a hundred," anguished IAEA spokesman said they usually don't comment on these misinformation attempts, but enough was enough: "We have not been denied access at any time, including in the past few weeks."

Did I mention that conservatives treat their constituents like suckers?...
