Blogging While Green

A second environmental panel at Netroots Nation focused on "Debunking The Issue Silo Myth," the myth that environmental issues only exist in their own "silo," when in fact they are directly relevant to economic growth, poverty, health and national security issues.

Panelist Natasha Chart, who blogs about environmental issues on multi-issue blogs such as Open Left and MyDD, talked with me afterwards about how enviro bloggers can help make green issues more accessible, both inside and outside the blogosphere.

Then I spoke with Energize America leader A Siegel on how blogs can help citizens both draft and build support for economically powerful environmental legislation.
