Two things are clear:
Republicans will do and say anything to destroy Social Security.
Democrats can't find their tail with both hands.
The very first thing that should be done to make Social Secuirty viable is to raise the earnings cap... or better yet, eliminate it completely.
The second thing to do is 'repeal' the "2% tax cut" given to us by robbing the Social Security Trust Fund of that 2%, so we'll have a stronger economy?
It does not take an economist or even a really smart person to see what the problems are. Have we elected the dumbest of the dumb to run out country?
When you're taking home the net of $500,000 in salary and bonuses will you miss the $30,000 you should be paying into SS? When anyone receives a million dollars in earnings, will that person really miss $62,000?
Come on! All of us little people must give our 6.2% on everything we earn. Why not the fat cats?
Which delusional Democrat thought it was a good idea to reduce the premiums paid to Social Security when everyone is arguing that SS will be broke in a few weeks? A mistake of Titanic proportion.
