What is the DSCC Really Made Of and What Can They Do For Me Now?

II would like to contribute my comments below in response to a recent email I received.

It is my hope to keep the issue of those ALREADY made homeless by the government's failure to intervene in any tangible, effective way to keep these people in their homes. CNN and others networks seem to have written these victims off, just as the banks did, actually CAUSING MORE HOMELESSNESS IN THIS COUNTRY THAT PRIDES ITSELF ON BEING THE GREATEST IN THE WORLD! My guess is the homeless think that notion is vastly inflated, just like the real estate in 2006 due to investor frenzy and the subsequent financial institutions' frenzy to support he investor, and then supporting absurd loans. It might have worked had those investors been forced to support a viable working infrastructure within those communities they took advantage of, but that is where they betray their "trickle down" mantra. They not only betray any "trickle," to others, they refuse anything but a hefty stream of funds into their already well-fed bank accounts. However, what goes around comes around and this self-serving behavior DID NOT WORK! What is worse is that this money-grubbing endeavor HURT ALL OF US!

Comment to DSCC:

"LOSING, LOSING, GONE!" MY HOME WAS "LOST!" NOW WHAT? "Lost" connotes that all one has to do is Look for that which was Lost and it shall be returned to you. The banks "lost" money and it was returned to them.

Where is my government's guarantee I will ever obtain financing I CAN AFFORD TO REPAY THAT IS DEVOID OF "PUNISHMENT" FOR MY MISTAKE? THERE SEEMS TO BE MERCY FOR CORPORATE CROOKS WITH MONEY. ALL IT TAKES IS A LOOK AT THE RUNAWAY OIL PRICES THAT WAS JUST FUEL ON THE FIRE OF THE FINANCIAL MELTDOWN! WHERE IS THE PUNISHMENT FOR THOSE COMPANIES, BOTH DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN?

WHAT, NO SAFETY NET FOR ME? WHAT? YOU THINK I SHOULD BE PUNISHED? SHALL I LINE UP BEHIND EVERY CRIMINAL CORPORATE WELFARE RECIPIENT (including traitor Bill Gates, for blaming our educational system for his massive hiring outside this country (a lame excuse) - why doesn't Gates finance the education of "engineers" he claims he needs who are citizens. I'll line up for that training, or any other to be hired by Microsoft!), OR SHOULD THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION COME UP WITH A PLAN TO INSURE THAT THOSE WHO WERE MADE HOMELESS BY THIS DEBACLE ARE RETURNED TO HOME OWNERSHIP THAT THEY CAN AFFORD! Wells Fargo is not only running roughshod over its victims, its slapping them in the face by reducing its PASREO holdings at 50% of previous value, after refusing to sell to the current owner at that reduced rate. MY HUSBAND AND I COULD HAVE STAYED IN OUR HOME HAD THEY DONE THIS FOR US! INSTEAD WELLS FARGO IS CELEBRATING ITS BAILOUT GOOD FORTUNE BY BUYING UP OTHER "MORE LUCRATIVE" ASSETS! WHERE ARE THE ANTI-TRUST ENFORCERS - ON AN EXPENSIVE JUNKET TO DUBAI?

I WANT TO SEE THE BANKS FAIL AT THE HANDS OF "MY" GOVERNMENT AND FOR MY GOVERNMENT TO STEP IN TO RESTORE ME TO VIABILITY. IT'S MIGHTY HARD TO "PITCH IN" FROM THE STREETS! IT'S HARD TO FIND GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT FROM UNDER A BRIDGE!

I am citing a worst-case scenario to make the point that the government, by its denial that millions of families were being destroyed, owes us at least a favored position in restoring ourselves to home ownership, a position from which we can begin again to fuel the economy. I will gladly sign up for community service when I am able to STAND AGAIN.

There is an investment in the future economic well being of this nation. It is called TRICKLE UP ECONOMICS - GIVING THE BACKBONE OF THIS NATION ITS MUCH NEEDED CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS TO AVOID THE OSTEOPOROTIC CONDITION THAT NOW PLAGUES THE ONCE STABLE MIDDLE CLASS.

There's another viable investment in the future of this country and it is to reach further into the depths of our citizenry to pull those up from poverty, where I currently reside, invest in those disenfranchised communities for the noble purpose of creating solid, realistic opportunities for every individual within those communities. However, for this to take place, investors would have to rewire their thinking. OK, you well-heeled citizens, can you stomach delayed gratification, or worse, possibly no gratification at all that can be added to your bottom line, to effectively help the down trodden? Or, is that notion just way too altruistic? There is another subject I would love to share at a future time - the concept of altruism.
