Barak Obama was elected less than 24 hours ago and already some of the "winners" are perceiving this victory as one for the Progressive Movement, whatever that is. I have no desire to be a Progressive any more than I have a desire to be a Neocon. I do not want to be a label. I do want an Obama administration that views its victory as a challege to unify and not a madate to pursue a set of values associated with this or that philosophy. Bring the country together, unite those who are not yet able to embrace, and work toward that day when all but the fringe can find the common ground to work together for a better America and a better world.
