My Local right wing rag Won't publish my letter about joe the plumber

Below is a copy and paste of a letter that I have submitted to the Warren Times Observer 5 times over the past week for publication in the "Letters to the Editor" section. http://timesobserver.com/page/category.detail/nav/5004/Letters-To-Editor...

During the final presidential debate the American people were introduced to the quintessential working class republican voter, Joe the plumber JTP for short. JTP gained his fifteen minutes of fame by accusing Barack Obama of planning to raise JTP’s taxes. Of course the out of touch republican spin machine immediately embraced JTP as the new working class patron saint of the GOP.
I say that JTP is the quintessential working class republican voter for several reasons. First of all, he is wrong about almost everything that he says. His name isn’t Joe. He is not a licensed plumber. His employer is not a licensed plumber. JTP’s taxes would be much lower under an Obama presidency than they would be under a McCain presidency. A small business that grosses $250,000 per year does not equate to a $250,000 income. JTP will never get close to a $250,000 income. Returning to a slightly more sensible progressive tax as is not socialism. If you Google JTP you will see that socialism should be near the bottom of his lists of concerns.
Another symptom that illuminates JTP as the quintessential working class republican voter is what he does not say. He never mentions his real objections to Barack Obama. After the palaver that he spouts is proven to be erroneous, he remains of the same opinion still. If his given reason for detracting from Barack Obama are proven to be false then why wouldn’t JTP change his support? The obvious answer is that JTP, like most typical republican working class voters, has reasons that he does not talk about, that are his REAL objection to electing a president that would obviously be better for JTP’s financial situation. I’d have to guess that JTP is a card carrying member of the NRA, or a religious zealot that has been convinced that abortion and homosexuality are somehow detrimental to his lifestyle. It’s difficult to understand why working class people get the “Confederate Soldier Mentality” because they hardly ever express their real reasons for being chickens that vote for Colonel Sanders. It turns out that JTP and his employer are members of some right wing association of tradesmen opposed to unions, despite vast evidence that union membership is the single biggest contribution to good wages for people working in trades.
The most discouraging thing about JTP is that he will continue to vote based upon erroneous dogma as opposed to factual evidence presented to him.
Fascism is the ism that has gripped the U.S.A. The republican spin machine has started to play the McCarthy card of crying socialism. The military industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned us about is upon us, and it is antithetical to socialism. The republicans continue to advance the half truth that the U.S. has the second highest tax rate in the world. They always ignore the fact that the U.S. has the second lowest Effective tax rate in the industrial world and that 65% of corporations pay no income taxes at all.
